Misty is the Owner of Smooth Transitions of the Bluegrass and leads the client-facing work of guiding seniors and families through life’s transitions. Her background includes dentistry and childcare, along with many years managing complex household and family responsibilities - experiences that shaped her strong organizational skills, patience, and thoughtful attention to detail.

Misty has a deep heart for service and is especially drawn to supporting older adults during seasons of change. She is known for her calm presence, compassionate listening, and ability to help clients navigate both the practical and emotional aspects of downsizing and relocation. From sorting belongings and coordinating logistics to helping a new space feel like home, she approaches each transition with care and respect.

Together with her husband, Mark, Misty is building Smooth Transitions as a family-owned business rooted in service - one designed to provide dependable, thoughtful support to seniors and their families throughout the Bluegrass region.
